The new branding comes from over a year of research on how people see Midwestern University and its impact on healthcare education and the healthcare industry. Knowing that a brand is key to an institution's identity, we carefully refreshed the University's image to create a recognizable and impactful brand while honoring Midwestern's long history of quality healthcare education.
The new branding features a modern typeface and a logomark that represents both the Illinois and Arizona campuses, with an M for "Midwest," a W for "West," and a cross. This cross, a symbol of healthcare excellence and safety adopted over 150 years ago by the Geneva Conventions, is used extensively in the materials like ads, publications, and pamphlets.
